Dr Abhishek Venkteshwar is currently the Assistant Director-Student Activities & Events, Department of Student Support Services and Assistant Professor , Alliance School of Business at Alliance University. He previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Jain University-CMS and then was promoted as Head-Program Development & Student Affairs , Knowledgeum at the Jain Group. Dr. Abhishek is also a Subject Matter Expert for International Business at UpGrad Campus. Dr. Abhishek headed the spectator engagement in Khelo India University Hames 2022. His Educational qualifications include D.Lit (HC), PhD, M.Phil , PGDUT,UGC-KSET, MBA and B.Sc (Hons). He is the recipient of three gold medals for Academic excellence and completed a course in University Teaching from the University of Newcastle, Australia. He is also a certified awarder by The Duke of Edinburgh Awards, UK. Dr. Abhishek has been certified by Harvard University, Yale University, IIM-Bengaluru and ISB Hyderabad. In his career span of 10 years, he has authored more than 67 papers in several UGC care/ Scopus indexed international journals with over 100 citations on google scholar. Dr Abhishek has authored/co-authored over 22 text books in various management disciplines. Dr Abhishek is a Reviewer in Asia Pacific Management Review, Elsevier. In the year 2020, he was awarded the “Best Professor” by RULA International Awards, Global Leadership Awards and DR Research Awards making it a hat trick. In 2022, he was awarded the Global Best Teacher Award, one of the most prestigious international teaching awards. Dr. Abhishek has been a panellist on several TV shows including Republic and News 9. He follows a 3 E Approach to University Teaching - Education, Engagement and Entertainment. He has observed that 90% of the learning happens in the engagement phase and therefore developed a unique pedagogy titled “Game of Cases”, which is a unique blend of traditional teaching, case simulation, academic activities and stress busters with extensive use of social media. This has worked wonders for his students and he is constantly looking for opportunities to enhance his skills. |
